Spring Break '09

While we didn't get to see the beach on our week off, we did get to relax, see friends and family and sleep ALOT! Here's the recap:

Friday-Sunday (first weekend): literally did nothing but laze around and spend time together...it was fabulous!

Monday: I don't even remember haha

Tuesday: I went home while Brent had to stay in Charleston and work. Tuesday night I rode around the ghetto of Springfield with my brother who is a cop. It was a lot of fun...always something interesting going on!

Wednesday: Shopped for a graduation dress (stuck out), met my mom and Rachel for dinner and watched idol with Rach at her apt. then headed back to Charleston

Thursday: Again...did nothing! We did order Monicals which is always a treat =) Oh we did play BINGO with a lot of townies at the Moose Lodge here in Charleston...didn't win though

Friday: I didn't do much but Brent had to spend the whole day writing a paper...yes, on Spring Break...it was due on Saturday...that's just mean!!

Saturday: We went to Champaign, met some of Brent's family for lunch, I shopped again for a grad dress (struck out), then we went to Matt and Shannon's house for dinner and dessert. Our friends Janna and Derek also came and us girls had some great girl talk in the kitchen while the guys watched basketball. It was a great evening =)

Sunday: Church, dress shopping in mattoon (I found a dress at JCPenney's! Now I just need some shoes...). Brent went up to Champaign again for a guys night and I'm enjoying an evening all to myself!

That was our exciting spring break...and our last spring break in Charleston...yay!! We're still apartment searching in Springfield so if you think about it, pray that we can find something we love for a decent price! This coming weekend we're heading to my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday and look at some apartments. Unfortuantely we didn't have much to take pictures of this week, but here's one of us in the car at some point!

Also, I thought I'd throw this pic in because it's just so dang cute!! Hopefully some day Brent and I will get a little fluffball like this:
