Wedding weekend numero tres

This was our third and final wedding weekend and it was a BLAST!
We headed over to Catlin Friday afternoon for the rehearsal and dinner which started the weekend off great.
They went for a more non-traditional route for the rehearsal. Everyone wore their favorite baseball team shirts and mesh shorts because at the dinner (located at a park) we'd be playing wiffle ball! It was a lot of fun, and very laid-back.
After lots of fun playing wiffle ball, all the girls headed back to Rhonda's house for the evening. It didn't take long before we realized how tired we were. Luckily we all got a decent amount of sleep for the big day Saturday.
Saturday was perfect. We got our hair done, got to the church for pictures, and then hung out in the room until 3 when the ceremony started.
Brit looked fabulous and did well all day! After the great ceremony, we headed to the reception for some awesome food and dancing! After the couple took off, Brent and I loaded up the gifts and took them to Rhonda's house, then crashed shortly after.
We loved seeing eveyone and being a part of the big day! Here are just a couple pictures from the festivities!

Wedding weekend numero dos

So this weekend we got to travel to Kansas City (both Kansas and Missouri) for my great friend Jenny Yankey's wedding. We left here Friday afternoon and arrived around 7:00 to our awesome priceline.com hotel! The best part...king bed!! If you know us at all, you know this was a treat all by itself!
After we checked it, we went to the hotel where Jenny and her family were staying and got to visit with them for a couple hours...it was so great to see everybody! Here's a picture of myself, Jenny and two of her bridesmaids:
Saturday, we got to sleep in and hang around until the wedding at 4:00. The wedding in one word: BEAUTIFUL! It was outside at a park and the reception was in an awesome building right next to where the ceremony was. Although it was hot, it was dry and that's all the matters! We had such a great time during the wedding and then dancing at the reception. Here are a couple shots of the wedding:
Sunday we left around 11:30 and didn't arrive home until about 9:00 (and it should normally take about 5.5 hours)...here's why. We had tire troubles. Luckily we caught it before it was too late, but one of Brent's tires was about to explode, so between changing that and putting the spare on, getting to a Wal-Mart, having to buy 2 new tires, and then waiting for an hour in Wal-Mart, it made for a LONG day in the car! But we arrived safely and we feel very blessed for that. And it was well worth it to get to be at Jenny and Frank's wedding :)

Us at Wal-Mart, going crazy...

Wedding weekend numero uno

This weekend we travelled north for Bridget Owen and Ben Hart's lovely wedding! We had a blast dancing well into the night with our friends from Campus House and then got to stay and visit more with Mallory and Matt that night. Sunday we went to their church, then enjoyed the beautiful day and walked around their cute little town of Glen Ellyn. Unfortunately we had to leave our friends and come back to Charleston :(
Last night we booked our hotel room for next weekend's festivities (Brent used priceline.com and got us a $139/night room in a Crowne Plaza for $60!!! So we're staying 2 nights!) We're going to my good friend Jenny's wedding in Kansas City, KS for the weekend and I could not be more excited!!
Also, this is the last week of my silly summer class. Then Brent begins his classes next week. Starting next week my schedule will be pretty WIDE open (seeing as how I only work 2 hours a day) so if anyone would like to hang out, let me know, I'll be around!
Now here are some pictures from our fun weekend...Cardinals game and wedding (And yes, my shoes came...one hour before we left on Saturday!!)
